Sarouk rugs originate from the village of Saruk in the Markazi province of central Iran, and are among the most admired of all Persian rugs. Known for their lush floral designs, deep red grounds, and exceptionally fine wool, Sarouk rugs were historically exported in great numbers to the West — where they became synonymous with quality and elegance. Their dense, velvety pile and intricate detailing make them as beautiful underfoot as they are to the eye.
